How we work

The service that we offer is very straight forward and transparent. Initially, we will arrange to visit you at your property to assess the existing property in respect to your requirements. We will listen to what you want to achieve and give you our ideas and suggestions about how best to achieve your requirements, both in a practical sense and also taking into account the local authorities and what we feel they will/won't allow should a planning application be necessary. We can also talk through the process involved with the local authorities and associated timescales and costs etc.

This initial onsite consultation is a free service and there will be no charge or further obligation resulting from our first visit. It will be followed up with an emailed quotation for the production of the architectural drawings which will clearly outline our fixed fees and deliverables. Should you decide you'd like to proceed with JPT Design, we will come back out to visit again and take all necessary information and measurements in order to start on the designs and drawings. We aim to get a first draft of the design back to you within 10 days for your review/comments/alterations.

Once you are happy with the drawings and the designs, JPT Design will then act on your behalf as your agent and make all submissions to your local authority and any further correspondence with the council will also be dealt with by us on your behalf.
